Top Ten Author Duos You'd LOVE To See Write A Book Together
Dana's Picks1. Kellie Sheridan and Erica Crouch
Their best friend status is just amazing and they would write such an incredible book together. I don't really know what I would want them to write. I would pretty much be happy with anything.
2. Jennifer L. Armentrout and Richelle Mead
They could write strong and snarky female leads so well plus the guys would be just so hot that they would melt or I would. This book would be amazing and I need it to happen. It would be a paranormal series and it would kick ass.
3. Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera
They just seem like amazing friends on twitter. Both debut authors who wrote coming out novels. I haven't read More Happy Than Not but I really want to. I LOVED Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda. I just feel like this needs to happen.4. Stephen King and James Patterson
Just for the sheer bestselling nature of it. This book would be a money maker. It would be some mystery horror novel that would have everyone talking about it for years.
5. Ransom Riggs and Tahereh Mafi
Because you haven't thought of this one before? Husband and wife duo. It would be craziness and we would pre-order it in a heart beat. It would be wonderfully written and incredibly imaginative and the YA world would be in total love with it.
Hannah's Picks1. Sarah J Maas and Susan Dennard
It feels kind of obvious to say it but since these guys are absolute best friends and awesome writers, a book written by both of them would be amazing. I know they just write it for fun, but they should publish Starkillers Cycle - which is written sporadically by the two of them - and it is amazing!
2. Victoria Schwab and Maggie Steifvater
I love both Schwab's and Steifvater's style and I feel like they have the same dark twisted aspect to their work that just goes hand in hand with each other.
3. Rick Riordan and Erin Latimer
Riordan is the undisputed king of mythological retellings (in my humble opinion). Erin has a darker take on things and good sense of swoon inducing romance but they both have on the nail wit, so together it'd be dynamite.
4. John Green and Rainbow Rowell
A book with all the heart of A Fault In Our Stars but no one dies and they all live happily ever writing fanfiction. Yes please. Genuinely, I love the observations that these two authors make about people. They could write the funniest, most real contemporary romance ever and it might just be the one to make me fall for that genre.
5. Erin Bowman and Beth Revis
It's no secret that the one thing missing from my life is COWBOYS IN SPACE NOVELS. I would preorder this book before they'd even written it.
Er, US obviously. It is already in the works and will be epic.
