I always have the intention of doing a really thought out and heart felt post on my blogiversary, but I usually tend to forget to do that. I would rather put my effort into more content than some really sappy post about how much DS means to me.
This blog has come along way from its shaky beginnings when I had zero clue as to what I was doing. I don't even look at the posts from earlier than 2013. They are pretty scary. I never thought that taking the chance on making a blog would change my life. But it definitely did.
I've made so many amazing friends through blogging and through this community. I would sit here and try to name all of the people but that would be long winded and just an entirely separate post itself. I have read so many books that I probably never would have found without the blogging community. I've even found the career that I want to go into through book blogging. (UGH I DIDN'T WANT TO GET SAPPY)
The community has totally changed over the 4 years, for better and worse. When I started blogging I didn't have a clue that there even was a community. I never expected to still be doing this 4 years later, there were plenty of hiatuses and slumps along the way. I never think about the numbers of it (stats and follow counts) and I don't think that says anything toward how happy doing this makes me feel.
I always loved that DanaSquare doesn't really have a focus in its name. I started out making random posts from books to music, it was just what I loved. I really want to get back to that. I can't wait to see what the future hold, whether DS stays focused on books or just what I'm loving currently.
Thank you so much for reading my blog. Thank you so much for following my blog. Thank you so much for an amazing 4 years.
