Discussion Posts, Guest Posts, and Other Posts:
- I interviewed Wendy Mills the author of Positively, Beautiful on the blog tour. She has some awesome answers. I can't wait to read her book!
- I posted my February Recap, a bit late I know. I am loving posting these recaps because in a weird way they motivate me to get stuff done so the recap for the month isn't lacking.
- I posted the unconventional trailer for Zeroboxer by Fonda Lee. This debut sounds freaking amazing and I need to read it asap.
- I helped reveal the cover for Polaris Awakening the second Patchwork Press anthology. I have been interning with them for almost a year so I have seen this anthology through its development so I can't wait to finally read it!
- I discussed how I keep organized and shared all of the tools I use to do so. I am a bit of a neurotic freak when it comes to keeping organized, which has definitely helped me with keeping up with the blog and all of my school work.
- I started a new series of posts called Sentimental Square and in the first post I told the story of how my brother made me read Harry Potter making me the reader I am now.
- My Square After Dark: Romance Recap went up this month and I shared my thoughts on my recent romance and erotic reads. I am really enjoying this series of posts, despite my love for YA I love a good adult romance.
- I posted the cover reveal for The Body Institute by Carol Riggs, which looks great. I am very excited to read this book.
- I posted the next installment on my Broadcast Reads series of posts. I shared with you my recommendations for New Orleans settings.
- I think this month was the month of all of the series posts because I started yet another, TV Talk. I shared all of the TV shows that I am currently trying to keep up with, that I remember.

TV Shows
I have been trying to catch up on the show Shameless. This family is a train wreck and I can't seem to stop watching. Sometimes it gets to be so crazy that I have to watch.
I binged like 9 episodes of this netflix original show Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. This show was fun and really stupid. It isn't something I would ever watch, but Erica Crouch (author of Ignite) is obsessed so I put it on. I'm not sure if I will finish the season though.
I had watched some of season one of True Blood during my winter break but I never continued with it. I watched three seasons of this show in a week. I am up to season 5, but it has gotten so cray cray that I am taking a bit of a break and decided that I was going to pick up the book series again. I am currently reading book 3 in the Sookie Stackhouse series, Club Dead.
Movies:
I went to see the new live action Cinderella with Lili. I really enjoyed it. It was beautiful and made my disney heart flutter. Also Richard Madden is my love!
I watched The Duff and I thought it was great despite never reading the book. It was really funny and I think I may at some point read it soon.
My mom and I went to see Insurgent. I had a lot of thoughts about it when I went to see it so I decided to write up a full review of it.
Music
9 Crimes - this was featured in one of the True Blood episodes so now I am obsessed with it.
How was your month? If you do a monthly recap I would love to read it!
I still feel like I ought to watch Cinderella, maybe if one of my friends that is more into romantics needs a partner to go see it!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on posting every day Dana!
