In an attempt to clear her name, Alina unintentionally trades one prison for another when she escapes, aided by a group of teens whose intentions and motivations are a mystery to her. As she gets to know one of the boys, sparks fly, and Alina believes she may finally be able to trust someone. But when she uncovers clues left behind from her past life that only she can decipher, secrets begin to unravel. Tour Question: “If you lived in a world with soulprint technology, what would you want your soul to be reincarnated as?”
This is such a creative blogtour post idea! Kudos, Bloomsbury! This is a really hard question to answer. Just the idea of reincarnation is fascinating to me and makes me think a lot about everything. Do you pick someone that makes a difference, someone famous, or someone with your own aspirations? My first thought was the one that I went with, bestselling author.
Not for the celebrity or money of it, but for the impact it would have. Think about it, what if you were reincarnated as a J.K Rowling, J.R.R Tolkien G.R.R Martin, type author of author who has the ability to inspire creativity and create a love for reading. They went beyond being someone who put words to a page but created worlds and also a welcoming place for readers. They touch so many lives with their work and I think that is amazing. So maybe I should have answered bestselling fantasy author but I would love to be the person to trigger others love for the written word or the magical. I definitely love writing but at this point I am totally unsure if I will ever be a published author and never to the extent of these authors. I just think these authors went above and beyond their job description for a lot of people. You could open Harry Potter as a kid and find your safe haven or your escape. It is incredible the impact some of these authors have on your life that you don't even think about.
So what do you think about my choice and my reasons for it? Who or what would you want to be reincarnated as? I would love to know!
