I was tagged from the blog Fangirling Misses specifically by MissBloodsucker. Thanks so much! This was really fun!
"List 10 books that have stayed with you in some way. Do not take more than a few minutes and do not think too hard. They do not have to be the “right” books or great works of literature, just ones that have affected you in some way. Paste these instructions and tag 10 friends, including me, so I can see your list.”
This could be done anywhere on social media! I preferred a blog post!
I picked all of these really fast!!
1. Harry Potter Series
So I am sort of cheating and just going for the whole series on this one. These books made me realize that reading was fun and I will forever cherish them.
2. Twilight Series
I was going into 7th grade when I read this series and I fell head over heels for it. I know a lot of people really hate on it, but it will always have a special place in my heart because it introduced me to YA. It showed me what I was passionate about. This blog or my career aspirations wouldn't exist with out Twilight. I would be looking into becoming a lawyer rather than wanting to go into the publishing industry.
3. Roswell High
Now, this series is very old. The TV show on the WB back in the day was based off these books. This was the first time I ever marathoned a series both book and TV show. These books weren't even in print when I read them and I had to buy some off ebay. If you love the Lux series, you should really watch this show!
4. The Hunger Games
The Hunger Games is a book series that I feel very hipster about. I have a hardcover first edition that my brother bought for honor society. I had to wait each book to come out and it was torture.
5. Vampire Academy
My Mom bought this boxset for me of the first three books and the covers were horrible. I hadn't heard of it before and decided to give it a shot. It was amazing and I adore all of these characters.
6. Jane Eyre
I read Jane Eyre in middle school and absolutely fell in love with this romance.
Jennifer L. Armentrout is currently my favorite author. Obsidian was the first book that I ever read by her. My favorite is actually Half-Blood, but Obsidian will always be the first.
8. Pride & Prejudice
I love Elizabeth Bennet. Done. End of explanation.
9. City of Bones
A lot of these are books I read with my bother, City of Bones is no exception. I even got ahead of him with this series.
This is a recent read, but I just know that it will be one of my all time favorites.I tag:
