Book 4 of the Body Finder Series
Sometimes the Dead Can't Be Silenced.
Violet thought she had made peace with her unique ability to sense the echoes of the dead and the imprints that cling to their killers . . . until she acquired an imprint of her own. Forced to carry a reminder of the horrible events of her kidnapping, Violet is more determined than ever to lead a normal life. However, the people who run the special investigative team she works for have no intention of letting her go.
Violet will do whatever it takes to keep her loved ones safe—even if it means lying to her boyfriend, Jay. But when an echo calls to her, she stumbles upon a murder scene unlike anything she's ever witnessed. The murders are frenzied and twisted, and the killer left a disturbing calling card for all to see—a brimstone cross sketched in blood on the wall. And Violet finds herself pulled into a deadly hunt for a vicious madman with an army of devoted followers.
Violet has survived dangerous situations before, but she quickly discovers that protecting those closest to her is far more difficult than protecting herself.

"If I couldn't do the things I do, we might not have known where to find you when you were missing You had a happy ending"
This will be a spoiler free review because I do not want to ruin this fantastic series for you in case you have not read it.
These books have a little bit of everything you could want. It is the prefect mix of mystery and paranormal. Violet finds dead bodies it is what she does and through out these novels she is continuously finding people and solving crimes whether she wants to or not.
One thing that is very unique about this series is that Kimberly gives us the point of view of not only Violet but either the killer or major suspect in the killing. It is twisted and creepy but fascinating to read.
I love the Jay and Violet romance. It always felt so right and I enjoyed that they weren't perfect. I wish I could find me a boy like Jay. He stuck with Violet through thick and thin.
I always thought that the story lines were predictable in these books right until the very end but then everything I thought was going to happen didn't and I was thrown for a loop!
The Body Finder Series is amazing and nothing like what you will ever read. I really hope that this is not the last book!
