My Thoughts And Opinion-
I absolutely loved this novel! It was the perfect mix of mystery and romance with a nice side of fantasy. I loved both Sawyer and Adam in a way the relationship between the three characters reminded me of Twilight. Sawyer in a way was like Jacob, good for he. She could have a nice easy dependable life with him. But with Adam, the Edward like one, she felt an undeniable pull and she just couldn't get enough even if she knew it was wrong.
Since this is a novel that is heavily based on werewolves I loved the mythology. It wasn't very confusing nor overwhelming which is a nice change. I liked that there were many layers to it. That Native Americans were the basis to the magical aspects like the idea of a chante. The chante proved that Adam and Anna were meant to be. Also the fact that other things such as vampires are out there. Stephanie made that known but never was one in the story. So at any time in the future of this series one can possibly up.
So to go back to the topic of the Chante it for the reader made the Adam that kidnapped Anna very unbelievable or devastating ( at least for me I was so absorbed into this book I was going to cry, I know I am extremely emotional when I read I can't help it). But once I heard the real Adam in her thoughts you knew something was slightly fishy about this whole thing.
Stephanie's writing style was just absolutely wonderful. Easy to read but she still maintained a beautiful flow of words. It was hard not to get hooked. She wrote very developed characters that were very memorable. I loved Elle she was just a fun quirky character that I couldn't get enough of. I also enjoyed Anna's snarky sarcastic attitude it takes one well of a brave girl to challenge the authority of her Alpha time and time again!
