I am a sucker for vampire novels and Crimson Groves is a great one. I haven't read a really great vampire novel that is set in a contemporary time period in a while. At first when I started this book and Abby gets turned I thought it was pretty good. But once she escapes from Bronx it started to get incredible. When you realize the extent that Bronx manipulated her, you get thrown into a whole new story.
I have to say I really love Tyler. I was rooting for the forbidden romance there. But it kept irritating me that he seemed to have a real lack for self preservation. The fact that she could kill him never scared him until she was really going to. Or going to the Donor Clubs.
I don't want to spoil this too much for you but if you are looking for a great vampire novel Crimson Groves should be your choice!
